Mobile Caravan Gas & Roadworthy Certificates – Licensed Inspections Across Brisbane
As a Queensland Transport Approved Inspection Station (#11488), we provide roadworthy inspections for caravans and light trailers up to 4.5 tonnes. Certificates are issued electronically for your convenience.
Fully licensed under Gas Works Licence #L31824, we inspect and certify your gas installations to ensure they meet Queensland safety standards before sale, registration, or transfer.

Yes, if your caravan or trailer has an ATM (Aggregate Trailer Mass) over 750kg, at the time of sale, transfer, or re-registration in Queensland, you must supply a current QLD Safety Certificate / Roadworthiness Certificate (RWC).
If your caravan, camper, or motorhome has a permanently fixed gas supply, you are legally required to obtain a Gas Compliance Certificate in addition to the Safety Certificate.
In Queensland, a Caravan Roadworthy/Safety Certificate (RWC) is valid for:
Private sellers: 2 months or 2,000 km (whichever comes first)
Licensed dealers: 3 months or 1,000 km (whichever comes first)
This applies to caravans, camper trailers, trailers and motorhomes up to 4.5 tonnes.
In Queensland, a Gas Compliance Certificate is valid for 3 Calendar months. Annual inspections are recommended to ensure the safe operation of a gas system is maintained.
If your caravan does not pass, you’ll receive a report showing a list of items that need repair. You have 14 days to complete the repairs and book a follow-up inspection. Once everything is in order, we’ll issue your certificate.
